Next Up For The Harrisburg Area YMCA Race Series: The Freefall XRace

The 2014 Freefall XRace, slated for June 21, will test the mental, physical and emotional mettle of participants as they run a gauntlet of challenges featuring sections of road and mountain biking, trail and road running and canoeing on the Susquehanna River.  The course will also be peppered with a series of obstacles requiring team solidarity.

The event, formerly known as the Capital City Adventure Challenge, is part of the Harrisburg YMCA Race Series.  The race will be run in teams of 2 or 3, starting and finishing at the Postal Picnic Grounds, giving participants access to new trails, exciting new challenges and unique twists.

This is the first year YMCA and Freefall have collaborated on this race. Bowser challenged local businesses to create their own corporate teams as a team building experience and come, meet and compete with Freefall at the event.
