YMCA Center for Healthy Living Programs

The Harrisburg Area YMCA’s new YMCA Center for Healthy Living offers a variety of programs and services to impact the health and well-being of our Harrisburg Area community members. Throughout the year, we are currently providing our National Diabetes Prevention Program which helps serve adults who are at risk for Type 2 Diabetes or have been diagnosed with Pre-Diabetes, as well as our Tobacco Cessation and LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA programs, serving cancer survivors.

The YMCA Center for Healthy Living programs are expanding in order to help serve our community. With healthy living as a core focus of everything we do, it is our goal to provide you with programs that offer results, but also help you feel welcome, safe, and encouraged throughout the course of the program.

Here For You

Our trainers and instructors are certified and offer excellent support and advice for your health journey. We understand that everyone comes from a unique background and has their own story to tell. Whether you are trying to quit smoking or seeking to reclaim your health after cancer treatments, we have programs that help strengthen, support, and champion your health goals.

Get inspired with our YMCA Center for Healthy Living Programs at the Harrisburg Area YMCA. Currently, our programs are offered in a group class setting, so you can make connections with others and ultimately create lasting friendships. Our goal is to provide community support so you don’t feel that you’re going through your journey alone.
