Looking for a way to immerse your child in their favorite sport? With programs for football, basketball, volleyball, and more, the Y has sports camps for every interest!
Our sports camps provide an environment for children and teens to strengthen and sharpen their athletic abilities, build social and interpersonal skills through a team environment where sportsmanship is emphasized, and have fun all season long. At the YMCA, we are committed to nurturing the potential of every child and teen, as well as promoting healthy and active lifestyles.

Northern Dauphin County YMCA: Teen Strength Program
We have the ultimate six-week teen summer strength program planned this summer! This program is designed by our certified personal trainer for youth ages 9-14 to learn the basics of strength training, cardiovascular fitness, and proper technique in the wellness center.

West Shore YMCA: Winners Basketball Camp
This youth basketball camp will focus on the further development of individual skills through dribbling, passing, and shooting drills. Players will learn both offensive and defensive game strategies. For ages 8-11.

West Shore YMCA: Gymnastics Camp
Our gymnastics summer camp provides a fun and supportive environment for children to learn gymnastics fundamentals and participate in activities that foster body awareness, motor development, balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength. As children experience the fun of learning, they will also have opportunities to develop listening, cooperation, social skills, and a sense of personal achievement.
At gymnastics camp, children will be involved in skill development and learning activities on bars, beam, floor, vault, mini tramp, and rings. In addition to gymnastics, children will participate in fun games and activities, arts and crafts, and snack time. For ages 4-6.

West Shore YMCA: Competitive Volleyball Camp
This camp is designed for experienced volleyball players (at least 1-2 years). Participants will increase their fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain valuable gameplay experience. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving you a solid skill foundation to build upon after camp. Participants must have club and/or school team experience. For grades 6-12.

West Shore YMCA: Developmental Volleyball Camp
This camp will teach boys and girls basic volleyball skills such as serving, forearm passing, setting, hitting and blocking. Skills will develop into game-play by the end of the week. This camp is geared for beginners and/or players with little experience. For ages 8-15.
