With a variety of options for you, the Y is the best place to not only work out and get fit but make friends along the way!

Group Classes

Fitness programs at the Harrisburg Area YMCA allow you to work at your own pace or challenge yourself, every day. Our group class settings allow you to meet new people or come with a friend and keep one another accountable. Beginner and advanced classes are available for a variety of levels and abilities. With a class for every interest, you can explore new forms of exercise! Our classes are led by certified instructors who can help you maximize your time in the gym. Each class instructor will provide modifications and will help you move at your own pace.

Fitness Centers and Personal Training Programs

Most of our area locations offer fully-equipped wellness centers, aquatics centers, and gymnasiums to meet your fitness needs. We offer personal training with a certified staff member to help you get the most out of your workout, an assortment of classes to help you build muscle, stretch and lengthen, or increase cardio intensity, as well as a variety of sports leagues and camps for kids.
