The answer is the YMCA’s Half Day Kindergarten program. We always aim to build on the school day while offering your favorite YMCA programs. The ultimate mix of learning and play!

A $50 registration fee per child is required at the time of registration.
Child Care Works (CCW) Subsidized Child Care Program is accepted and Harrisburg Area YMCA Financial Assistance is available based on need. If you would like to purchase a youth or family membership to the YMCA to receive the lower monthly rate, you can find membership information HERE.
2026-27 Registration Dates:
- May 4th-8th: Registration is open for current School Year 2025/26, and Summer Camp 2026 enrollees and siblings
- May 18th-22nd: Registration is open for current YMCA Members and those groups listed above
- May 26th: Registration opens for everyone
- August 14th: Deadline to register for the first week of school
Please note that registration will be CLOSED for everyone on May 9th through May 17th, and May 23rd through May 25th.

Child Safety
At the Y, child safety and protection is our number one priority. Our goal is to help educate parents and children on how to be safe from child abuse in any environment with the skills they learn at our Y. Our team is trained in comprehensive and innovative practices around child safety to ensure your children are safe in our care.
