HARRISBURG, PA 5/1/26 — Effective April 1, 2026, the Harrisburg Area YMCA has leased and will manage the former “Fit On Market” fitness facility at 310 Market Street in Strawberry Square. This 3,420-square-foot boutique fitness center has been operational since Fall of 2020 and will now be part of the extensive regional Harrisburg Area YMCA network, which includes facilities in Harrisburg (Downtown and Uptown), Lower Paxton Township, Camp Hill, and Elizabethville.
This new addition to the YMCA gives members access even when Strawberry Square is closed. Free on-street parking is available weekdays before 8:00 am and after 5:00 pm, and all day on Sundays. Shower facilities and short-term lockers are available to all members.
