Harrisburg, PA (10/27/26) – Thousands of runners, walkers, and spectators are expected to gather on City Island on Sunday, November 8, 2026, for the YMCA Harrisburg Marathon, Half, and Relay Presented by Enders Insurance. The annual event will bring participants from across Pennsylvania and 8 countries, including Singapore, Brazil, and Denmark, for a day of competition, community spirit, and a shared finish line.
About the YMCA Harrisburg Marathon
Now in its 54th year, the YMCA Harrisburg Marathon is one of the region’s longest-running road races. The event features a full marathon, half marathon, and four-person relay, offering participants of varying experience levels a chance to take on a challenge.
Known for its fast, flat course, the race winds through Harrisburg’s urban streets, scenic riverfront, wooded paths, and bridges. The marathon is also a Boston Marathon qualifier, attracting runners seeking a qualifying time as well as those competing for a personal best or a community experience.
