BODYPUMP™ Fitness Classes

With our highly-trained instructors and your choice of weights, you can get the group effect and the results you’ve been looking for. The YMCA’s BODYPUMP™ class offers a fun, high-intensity workout session! Participants will be able to build up muscular strength in a group fitness environment. The class doesn’t focus on just any muscle, though. Bodypump™ helps athletes build lean, toned muscles, rather than going for bulk.
The lean muscle effect is created using squats, chest presses, lunges, curling, and more with the use of light to medium weight dumbbells. The class works out to the beat of the music and practices various repetitive movements. The resistance training and various exercises will keep you energized, burning calories, and building lean and strong muscles. The class utilizes all major muscle groups to give your entire body a great workout!
