With our highly-trained instructors and your choice of weights, you can get the group effect and the results you’ve been looking for. The YMCA’s BODYPUMP™ class offers a fun, high-intensity workout session! Participants will be able to build up muscular strength in a group fitness environment. The class doesn’t focus on just any muscle, though. BODYPUMP™ helps athletes build lean, toned muscles, rather than going for bulk.

The lean muscle effect is created using squats, chest presses, lunges, curling, and more with the use of light to medium weight dumbbells. The class works out to the beat of the music and practices various repetitive movements. The resistance training and various exercises will keep you energized, burning calories, and building lean and strong muscles. The class utilizes all major muscle groups to give your entire body a great workout!

Inspired by elite athletic training principles, LES MILLS CORE™ is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability, and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do.

All the moves in LES MILLS CORE have options, so it’s challenging but achievable whatever your level of fitness. During the workout, trained Instructors guide you through correct techniques as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches, and hovers. Plus there are some hip, butt, and lower back exercises too.
