Guest Pass Policy

Welcome to the Harrisburg Area YMCA. We hope your visit is enjoyable! Please remember that our first priority is to serve our members who have made a commitment to the Y by joining. The purpose behind our guest policy is to enhance member service to current members who are encouraging a friend to join, and to make reasonable accommodations for members of other YMCA locations traveling in our area or for out-of-town family of current members.

All Harrisburg Area YMCA locations are part of one association; therefore, a visit to one location counts as a visit to all branches. Guests 18+ must present valid government-issued photo ID and consent to screening through the YMCA Nationwide Sex Offender Registry database prior to accessing the facility. All guests will have a photograph taken for their YMCA profiles. Guests under the age of 18 MUST have a parent/guardian sign the guest waiver.

All guests are required to follow the YMCA Code of Conduct and all posted rules.

All guests are required to follow the YMCA Code of Conduct and all posted rules. Failure to follow policies will result in loss of YMCA access. Members are responsible for their guests and may face consequences if their guest is found breaking YMCA rules.

Bring a Friend Week promotions and other extended trial periods are subject to the guidelines provided by the YMCA during the promotional period. These are subject to change without notice, and members are encouraged to speak with the Welcome Center prior to bringing any guests.

Here’s How It Works:

I am a Y Member and I would like to bring a guest.

YMCAs can restrict guest usage, hours of usage, and area of usage with or without notice to ensure the safety and comfort of members. We highly encourage members to contact the YMCA prior to visiting with a guest to inquire about guest restrictions due to demands on the facility.

Branch Age Policies:

  • Visiting with a current member (see policies above)
  • Purchasing a 1-month Trial Membership (sold in-branch only)
