Bank Draft & Credit Card Policy

By joining the YMCA, I understand:

  1. Non-transferable and Non-refundable Fees: Membership fees cannot be transferred to another person or refunded.
  2. Continuous Membership Plan: The Bank Draft/Credit Card Draft is an automatic, ongoing membership plan that will continue until you take action to cancel or modify it.
  3. Monthly Draft: The YMCA will withdraw my monthly membership fee from the billing method I have provided on the 15th of each month.
  4. Reprocessing of Declined Payments: If your membership payment is declined, it will be resubmitted until payment is received or 21 days have passed. You are responsible for the declined payment, plus a $30 service charge, in addition to any fees your bank may charge.
  5. Billing Method Updates: You are responsible for updating your billing method by the 14th of the month if there are any changes.
  6. Termination or Change of Membership: If you wish to terminate or change your membership, you must notify the YMCA in writing. You must complete the membership termination process before the 10th of the month to avoid being billed for the following month.
  7. Rate Adjustments: The YMCA Board of Directors has the discretion to adjust the monthly membership rate for your category. In addition, should you no longer qualify for the rate in this agreement, The YMCA will adjust your rate accordingly. You will receive at least 30 days’ written notice prior to any changes in your membership rate.
  8. Membership Termination for Unpaid Dues: If you fail to pay your membership dues or do not resolve issues with your automatic payment in a timely manner, your membership will be terminated. Any unpaid balance must be paid before you can rejoin the YMCA.
  9. Property of YMCA: Membership cards remain the property of the YMCA and must be returned if requested.
