Popular Classes

While we offer a variety of classes across our association, there are a handful of fan favorites that are always available. Is there a class you’re jonesing to try?

Barre

Barre is a fitness program that combines the movements of Pilates, Yoga, and Ballet to give you longer, leaner, and stronger muscles in your legs, arms, and back. It focuses on mild cardiovascular movements, but primarily focuses on alignment, posture, and stretching.

Additionally, this class will help define abdominal muscles, core strength, and the lower body. In this class, you will increase stability by using isometric exercises that incorporate equipment like light dumbbells, flat resistance bands, mini-balls, and more.

Chair

A 45-minute yoga class where you can always be seated or choose to stand up for balance poses toward the end of class. It helps with strength, flexibility, balance, mental awareness, and breathing in a gentle, safe way.

Gentle

A gentle balance between foundation and fluidity of postures, building upon the principles of alignment. Perfect for beginners!

Hatha

A gentle, focused practice using meditation, poses, and breathing exercises to help you lengthen and relax. Beginner Level (Gentle Hatha Yoga) is appropriate for those new to Yoga, active older adults, or people recovering from injuries.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Performed at a faster pace than Hatha, the focus is on the flow between postures, and blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format. Not ideal for those new to yoga.
