Has your child progressed beyond swim lessons? Would he/she like to see what a swim team would be like without the swim team commitment? The Harrisburg Area YMCA offers pre-competitive swimming programs for your child to participate in at the YMCA!
Pre-competitive swimming allows your child to continue their aquatics journey past the basics of swim lessons and onto bigger and better opportunities. At the pre-competitive level, swimmers begin to build their endurance and improve their prowess in all four competitive strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
Pre-competitive helps swimming become easier, more efficient, and more exciting! We offer programs for children as young as 6 years old all the way up to 18 years old. Get started at one of our participating branches today!
