The YMCA Impact Fund is a yearly fundraising effort that ensures YMCA programs and services remain accessible to everyone in our community. By securing charitable gifts from individuals, businesses, and partners, this fund provides the financial assistance and program subsidies that make the Y possible for all.
In 2025, the Harrisburg Area YMCA directed nearly $277,000 in support to children, families, and individuals across Dauphin and Cumberland Counties. These resources opened doors to childcare, summer camp, wellness programs, and more, helping people of all ages and backgrounds thrive.

Our Mission
To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
Any time someone purchases a membership, makes a donation, or volunteers at the YMCA, they are doing more for their community. Money that comes to the YMCA stays in the Harrisburg area, supporting the education of local children, housing for local men in need, subsidized memberships for those who have a financial need, and much more.
Your Gift in Action
$25 gives the gift of mentorship and support to a teen in the Harrisburg area.
$50 gives the gift of confidence around water for a youth member.
$100 can inspire a lifelong love of fitness by sponsoring a youth sports participant at the Y.
$250 gives the gift of community and cover the cost of a senior’s annual membership.
$500 can help a cancer survivor heal and inspire movement in your community.
$1,000 gives the gift of an enriching, safe, and fun camp experience for a child in our care.
