Deep Water Boot Camp Classes
Deep Water Boot Camp classes are for the intermediate to advanced individual. Classes are held in the Deep Well of the pool at the West Shore YMCA.
Deep Water Boot Camp is an advanced class that provides an overall workout using all muscle groups. General knowledge of deep water fitness exercises is recommended to participate and is not recommended for beginner water fitness participants.
Various equipment is used for these classes including aquatic barbells, buoyancy cuffs and medicine balls. All exercises are designed to improve your strength and stamina in the water – so be ready to get a good workout! This class will improve your lung strength, core and leg muscles, and endurance in a low-impact, water fitness format
Pre-registration is not taken for our classes, however, each class has a class limit. Spots are first come, first served! We welcome both regular YMCA members and program members to deep water boot camp class, and encourage you to give it a try!
