The Harrisburg Area YMCA’s Kaptain Krunch abdominal class helps target the “flab zone” in a 30 minute session to burn calories fast. Though the abdominal area is a huge part of strengthening your core, the class concentrates on these 3 key areas to build muscle and minimize body fat:

  • Abdominal
  • Torso
  • Lower Back Areas

These three areas consist of the core muscles in your body and can help strengthen your back, tone your abdominal area, and improve stability and balance. Strengthening your core offers a variety of additional health benefits such an improved posture in your spine, less lower-back pain, and more functionality in everyday activities. You are able to increase your power and strength by simply increasing your core muscles.

The Kaptain Krunch class is a high intensity core exercise class that targets the abdominal area and surrounding area quickly. The class is open to individuals of all levels and abilities, but is focused on powerful, strengthening movements in a short amount of time.
