Spinning® class offers a low-impact substitute to running on a treadmill that anyone looking to strengthen their legs can participate in! The Harrisburg Area YMCA’s Spinning® classes will help burn calories and relieve stress.

Our class is open to all fitness levels so that anyone can reach their fitness goals! The instructor will take you for an imaginary ride, where the intensity is always controlled by you, so first timers and the highly trained athlete can get excellent workouts in the same class. Intro to Spinning®
During this 30-minute class, the instructor will individually set you up on the bike, ensuring a proper fit. You will be guided through the standard Spinning® positions and cueing, learn how to control resistance, perform cadence, and heart rate checks.
This 45-minute class is light to moderate pace and focuses on thorough warm-up and cool down procedures. Spinning® Lite is perfect for beginners and special populations, such as active seniors, asthmatics, pregnant women, as well as those with heart disease, osteoarthritis, or those coming back from injury.
