Inside Our Strong Teen Program

The YMCA will be offering a new program for Mothers and Daughters that will focus on developing the mind and body through 12 scheduled meetings. We teach faith-based principles that guide girls to become strong in body, mind, and heart. We develop leaders, influencers and confident girls who will impact their generation and the next. We develop a strong young woman by teaching 12 “workouts” to strengthen the body, but also 12 “work-ins” for the heart and mind.

Programs Details:

12 “Work-in” principles we cover:

  • Fellowship – Family – Focus – FIITR Principle
  • Identity – Integrity – Intention – Image
  • Truth – Thoughts – Table – Treasure

12 Workouts that we share:

  • 6 bodyweight workouts (high-intensity interval training – HIIT)
  • 3 weighted workouts (dumbbell, barbell, medicine ball)
  • 3 workouts to teach basic form, stretching and corrective
    exercises

Mondays Evenings:
September 11th – December 4th

Ages/Times:
Mother & Child(ren)
Ages 8-11, from 5:00-6:30 PM and Ages 12-15, from 6:30-8:00 PM

12 meetings – 12 Work-ins and Workouts

Fees:
Daughter & Mom – Facility Members – $120.00
Daughter & Mom – Program Members – $130.00
2nd sibling w/ parent – $40.00
(All non-members will be charged a $10 program membership fee).
