Cardio Fitness Classes
The Harrisburg Area YMCA offers a variety of group fitness classes that help keep your heart rate up and your calories burning! Cardio is a great way to keep your lungs and heart healthy and offers numerous other health benefits.
One important component to staying active and healthy is cardiovascular exercise. Heart Disease is currently the leading cause of death for both men and women. By increasing these types of workouts, you can help keep your body healthy and ultimately reduce your risk of developing heart disease.
At the Y, it is our goal to promote healthy lifestyles for individuals in our community. That is why we have provided multiple cardio fitness classes for our facility members and program members to choose from. In a group fitness environment, our classes allow you to work out with friends and push yourself to new limits based on your comfort level. Our certified instructors offer modifications so that anyone is welcome, regardless of their fitness level.
