Catch, throw, swing, and shoot. You’ll need your shoes for all we do at Multi-Sports Camp! Learn and have fun with the fundamentals of multiple sports while we explore the importance of team building at the West Shore YMCA branch.

At the YMCA, our sports camps are always focused on improving skills, practicing friendly competition and encouraging one another. In addition to learning exercises, youth will have the opportunity to put their new skills into action by participating in some games throughout the camp.

Sports offered at the camp include basketball, soccer, indoor t-ball, learning how to throw and catch a football, elementary games and more. Youth will be exposed to team-building exercises, sport-related drills, as well as a basic understanding of the rules of the game. With a variety of sports incorporated into the camp, youth will have the opportunity to stay active and find out what sport they enjoy the most.

2017 Multi-Sports Camp will be held on June 29th – July 2nd from 9:00AM – 10:30AM in the West Shore YMCA East Gymnasium. This camp is open to youth ages 5-7 and is instructed by our Youth and Sports Director, Bryan Chittester. If you’re looking to learn a variety of new sports this summer, our Multi-Sports Camp is a great place to be!
