Field Hockey Camp

The Harrisburg Area YMCA offers Field Hockey Camp for youth in the community at the West Shore YMCA!

Field Hockey is a fast-paced sport that utilizes both muscle and cardiovascular strength to play. As you play, players can improve their hand-eye coordination, muscular strength, strategy, and team-work. The Field Hockey Camp at the West Shore YMCA is a great way for girls to practice a new sport, boost their athleticism, and make new friends!

The Mini Sticks Field Hockey Camp is open to youth ages 5-12. Camps are broken up into two 4-day sessions during the summer, one in July and one in August, for select age groups.

The camp is designed to introduce field hockey to girls who have never played and to develop the skills of players who have some experience. Each day will consist of skill building sessions, a break for packed dinner, and opportunities for competitive play.
