United Way of the Capital Region’s Tocqueville Society proudly presented the 2014 Humanitarian Award to Robert S. Jones, the Executive Board President of the Harrisburg Area YMCA. Rob has gifted his community with a lifetime of inspiring leadership, commitment, and dedication. Rob has provided service through his time spent volunteering at United Way. He has led a multitude of fundraising efforts, served as board chair of the Tocqueville Society, as well as leading several committees.
In addition to his service for the Harrisburg Area YMCA, Rob services on the board of directors for the Kline Foundation and Boyd Foundation, as well as his aforementioned service to United Way. He also helped with the inception of the Hamilton Health Center, located in the Allison Hill neighborhood of Harrisburg.
